Making Music, Making Art, Making History

It Starts With Pen and Paper...

Picture
A piece of music always has an originator.  A writer or musician who pens a song, using their life experiences, thoughts, and feelings to create unique sound that represents what they are feeling at the time it is written.

A song that stems from a feeling or emotion transforms from words, to whole verses, to bridges, to choruses.  Once a song is written, it is recorded.

Accompanying the recording is music that is carefully and thoughtfully composed, chosen just for that song.  Once the song is recorded, it goes on to become a record that is played all over the world and  listened to by millions of people.

Throughout time, however, that song can change.  Other music artists may find instrumentals or lyrics from a song they like and use them to re-create the song or transform it into something completely different.
